Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz successfully weighed in ahead of their heavyweight title clash on Saturday night. Wilder came in at a trim 214 lbs, with Ortiz weighing in heavier at 241 lbs.

The pair meet at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York to challenge for Wilder’s WBC heavyweight belt. Wilder is looking to move to 40 – 0 and maintain his undefeated record, with Ortiz also undefeated but two no contests on his record. It was rumored that Wilder would look for more speed in this fight and it appears that’s exactly what he is aiming for, weighing the lightest he has ever been at heavyweight, since his third professional fight. Ortiz however, also looked in tremendous shape although outweighing the ‘Bronze Bomber’ by 27 lbs.
