Jon Jones made a triumphant return to the Octagon on Saturday by defeating Daniel Cormier at UFC 214. Jones was fighting for the first time since April 2016, when he defeated Ovince St Preux by decision. Irish boxing star Katie Taylor impressed on her American debut on Saturday night, when stopping previously unbeaten Jasmine Clarkson in the third round. The former Olympic gold medallist from 2012, extended her unbeaten record in the professional ranks to 6-0, and will now be hoping promotor Eddie Hearn can land her a world title shot.
